Book a slot to visit Rosenthal Library

(NOTE: Due to COVID, bookings may only be placed for currently registered Queens College students, faculty, and staff at this time.)

  • Library stacks are open for browsing and the loaning of physical materials will resume at the Borrowing Desk during normal operating hours. (Rosenthal Library: Mon-Fri 9:00 AM – 4:45 PM)

  • Reserve and Course Content materials will be loaned out for in-building use for 2 hours at a time on a first come, first served basis.

  • You must bring your own set of headphones for use in the Zoom Rooms.

  • Your QCard doubles as your library card and is required for all check-outs.

Reserve & Course Content Loans: Reserve loans may not leave the library building. If you plan to check out a two-hour reserve loan, please place a booking for Rosenthal Library – Library Study Space (3rd Floor) so that you are ensured a spot in the library to use the material.

Full-Day Pass: Please note that for library Study Spaces and Computer Commons reservations, users MUST book a full day pass even if you do not plan to be on campus for the entire time. Zoom Rooms are designated for 3 hours per booking.

Bookings: You may reserve up to 5 bookings per week for Study Spaces and Computer Commons areas, and 2 bookings per day for Zoom Rooms. All bookings can be made up to 1 week in advance of the current day.

No Same Day Booking: There are NO same day bookings available for Rosenthal Library. Next day bookings must also be made by 7pm the day before. (Next day bookings placed after 7pm are subject to automatic cancellation.)

Starting 8/16/2021, visitors will not be allowed access to campus unless you’ve uploaded proof of vaccination for approval via CUNYFirst; or provide a negative COVID test result from a CUNY authorized testing location taken no more than 7 days prior to your visit date.
