“Struggle to Learn, Learn to Struggle”: The Impact and History of the SEEK Program at Queens College, 1966–Today

Reception: February 8, 2024, 5:30–6:30 pm, Rosenthal Library, Barham Rotunda. Light refreshments will be served next to the Tanenbaum Room following reception in Rotunda.

A new exhibition celebrates the history of the SEEK Program at Queens College, from its origins in the Civil Rights Movement to its emergence as a national model for higher education opportunity programs across the country. The exhibit, featuring materials from the college archives, will be on view between Feb 1 and May 2, in the Rosenthal Library's Barham Rotunda, with additional materials featured in the Tanenbaum Room 300i. The exhibit demonstrates the incredible innovation, resilience, and impact of the program over its 58-year history.

Those without a CUNY ID should confirm access to the library for the exhibit or reception by emailing qc.archives@qc.cuny.edu.

Sponsored by the Queens College Library and Queens College SEEK Program.
